When I was a kid I was by myself looking up at the stars staring at the moon fascinated by how it looked. I grew up in Rochester, New York, and I always had a fondness for science and photography. I can remember my first field trip as a kid was the George Eastman House him being the founder of the 35mm camera. Later on in life, I joined the Marine Corps and was electrical engineer, but I was never too far away from the camera. I’ve enjoyed being at Brooks and thoroughly enjoyed being able to see the wonder and beauty in discovery of what’s behind the lens of microscope, telescope. I enjoy being able to slow down time or speed up time utilizing everything from high-speed video cameras to making time-lapse with several hundred photos to make a video. But most of all, I appreciate the ability to share what things look like to someone who’s never seen it that way.
